Headed
down Canyon, out Moore to Boy Scout Junction. Then up Bald Hill
Trail and saw the first Hound's Tongue of the season along the left
side of the trail. Then we headed down Hidden Meadow Trail to Phoenix
Junction. Then we did a brief boogie up the first third of Fish Grade and
walked the rest.

At
the top, we turned down Fish Gulch Trail. We saw one lone Milk Maid.
Then we fought with each other down Concrete Pipeline Fire Road. Taylor
wanted to jog, I demanded we walk.

We hit Shaver Grade and went up to Five Corners. We talked to a really cute little kid who was not bigger than a minute. He patted Taylor on the knee. His dad was scared, but followed the kid's lead in patting the big guy. Then I got off and walked down the Deer Park Fire Road to Boy Scout Junction. I got back on at the Connector Fire Road, and fought our way down the Canyon Trail. At one point we stopped to chat with a gal who was pausing to take in the creek. We went past and Taylor started dancing so I turned him around and had him walk backwards pretty much the rest of the way back. The gal said it looked like in movie running in reverse.
