Taylor and I went down the Shaver Grade and then up Warm Springs.

We stopped for lunch and then went over the top of "Mt. Baldy", past the school and back to Marin Stables. What a killer day - feeling a Fall in the air, and a few Bare Naked Ladies to spice things up.

A view of Mt Tam in the background and Phoenix Lake in the middle from Warm Springs Fire Road.

When I meet these Bare Naked Ladies on the road, I know it's ok to go home and tell my bride about 'em! These are on the hill leading up to the treatment plant that scares Taylor every time he walks by.

Here's the oak copse that Taylor and I hung out in for lunch. I had a baloney
sandwich (really Missy!) and a banana. Ok, I shared the banana with Taylor!

Ok, Ok, it's a great picture of Taylor's ears and you can barely make out that gorgeous view of the North Bay. I'll have to get photo lessons from son Benjamin I guess..

Better this time... Warm Springs Fire Road on the way to the top of "Mt Baldy." This is the name I got from Jamie at Marin Stables. Probably came from his Boy Scout hiking days. The map calls it Bald Hill. I think Jamie's name is much neater!

We crossed over the top of Mt Baldy and scooted down the steep hill and hung a left on the trail that goes to Deer Park School. This is looking back up (I think!). It's really cool in the spring when all the wildflowers are out.
