Mike Thoma's SF Bay Area Nature Hikes
Here's a summary of where I've hiked since 1995. I work at logging the birds, mammals, mushrooms, reptiles, trees and wildflowers that we see on the hikes. I hope this triggers others to go out and experience some of the natural beauty that we have here in the SF Bay Area. The more recent hikes point to images of the birds and wildflowers. I've noted the first time I've seen a flower each year with a "new" tag. Budding flowers and birds heard but not seen are enclosed in parens.
